Self Discipline. This week as you read, make an inventory list on areas that you need to work on.
Habits are not broken, they are replaced. If you are smart you will replace bad habits with good ones.

Your assignment this week is to read Chapter 9 in Developing the Leader Within You. Blog what area in your business you need to work on in order to become a better leader. Have a great week! Pink hugs! Angie
If I want to be a sales director, I have act like one now. That means running my business as a sales director would. My day to day work is what brings me closer to my goal. I want to make a plan and work my plan. I want a daily/weekly/monthly plan that I can stick to. One step at a time. Just show me how! Sabrina
ReplyDeleteWow girls we are doing good. I know as a group we've read two books in less than a year on personal growth (according to the video clip you most don't even read one). Not too shabby. Anyways in regards to this weeks reading this was my chapter. When people ask me what the most difficult thing about my Mary Kay business is I always say self discipline. It's tough being your own boss. I love this chapter and had to really be "disciplined" not to read ahead to get to it quicker. So what did I get from this great chapter:
ReplyDelete1. My #1 responsibility is to develop my discipline and personal growth. If I can't lead me I can't lead others.
2. More people fail due to inner issues and not outer ones.
3. A foolish person wants to conquer the world yet a wise person wants to conquer themselves.
4. We all have good thoughts, good ideas, and good intention, but few put them into action. That is me. I can plan and goal set so well but putting that into action has been in my past my downfall. Not any longer!!!
5. Do a 5 minute checkup on yourself midday and 5 minutes in the evening to evaluate your progress toward your goal.
I can't believe we have one week left. I may go through withdrawl. What's a girl to do? Get into ACTION!!! Who's with me?
